Power line construction

If you need to complete the construction of overhead lines (overhead lines), then contact the company "Metallenergo North-West". We provide full-scale services for the construction of power lines. After collecting all the necessary documentation, we will help you build a power line in the shortest possible time.

CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION OF POWER LINES)

Construction and installation of power lines is carried out according to the customer's project. All work on the construction of power lines, installation and commissioning is performed in accordance with SNiP 12-03-2001, SNiP 12-04-2002 and VSN 015-89. The safety of work is provided in accordance with RD 153-34. 3-03. 285-2002.

Construction and installation works are performed according to pre-developed technological maps. The technological maps accurately define data on the organization of technology and methods of labor of workers, give the composition of teams and links of workers by profession, number and qualification, indicate mechanisms, devices, as well as calculations of labor costs and technical and economic indicators for certain types of work.

Overhead transmission lines-construction and installation of power lines from 0.4-110 kV

Aerial transmission lines are laid in open areas on supports and are necessary for power supply of residential areas, industrial and agricultural facilities, horticultural areas, industrial and residential areas, Parking lots, production sites and other facilities.

Depending on the type of power line, wooden, reinforced concrete or metal supports can be used. Each type of power line supports has its own design features and application areas that are pre-defined by the project. The technological process of building overhead power lines is divided into:

  • preparatory work
  • works on the highway

Preparatory work includes the following:

  • production picket (splitting the centers of supports and fixing them in the ground)
  • preparation of the route (demolition of buildings, cutting of clearings)
  • road and bridge surveys
  • delivery of materials to procurement sites
  • complete construction, Assembly and delivery of supports on the highway

Centralized preparation of supports on sites equipped with loading equipment, mounting devices and equipment, specialized tools, highly improves the quality of work, reduces labor costs in the conditions of the route, and also provides the necessary conditions for productive work of line electricians.

Works on the highway include the following:

  • delivery of drums with wire, insulators, hardware to sections of the route
  • earthworks
  • final Assembly of piecework supports and their installation
  • installation of wires and cables

The design of power transmission line supports provides the possibility of using a single unified cycle of operations when performing construction and installation works, minimal manual labor costs, Assembly and ease of maintenance during their further operation.

When installing 0.4 kV power lines, aluminum wire (as) and self-supporting insulated wire (SIP) of various sections are used on railway supports of the SV164, SV110, SV95 brands.

When installing power lines over 0.4 kV, self-supporting insulated wire (SIP) of various cross-sections is used on railway supports of the SV164, SV110, SV95 brands.

If necessary, a joint suspension of the 0.4 kV overhead line and the 10 kV overhead line can be used on the SV 110 railway supports.

Cable transmission lines-construction and installation of power lines of 0.4-10 kV or more

Cable power lines are needed for power supply of objects not only in the city, but also in suburban areas. Cable power lines are also used for crossings through engineering structures, on tight sections of the route, in places of approach to substations.

Cable lines are less susceptible to external mechanical influences, are better protected from atmospheric influences and lightning strikes, occupy a smaller area of land, do not interfere with the work of agricultural machines in the fields and are less dangerous for the population and animals.

Cable lines are laid in the ground, on the walls, outside and inside buildings, on the supports of overhead lines, as well as under water.

On the surface of the earth above the underground power line, a reference point is set with the indication of the security zone and the phone number of the district power networks.

The technological process of construction of cable transmission lines is divided into:

  • preparatory work
  • works on the highway

Preparatory work includes the following:

  • off-site and on-site preparatory work
  • preparation of the route (demolition of buildings, cutting of clearings)
  • survey of roads, bridges, and engineering crossings
  • delivery of materials to procurement sites

Works on the highway include the following:

  • delivery of drums with wire, materials, hardware to sections of the route
  • earthworks
  • construction of cable structures (tunnels, channels, mines)
  • installation of cables, installation of end external, internal, connecting couplings, crimping of tips, cable entry into the electrical installation, etc.
  • filling of trenches and ditches

Cable laying is carried out in special structures, such as:

  • cable tunnels are closed corridors that have free passage along their entire length
  • cable channels are impassable structures that are completely or partially buried in the ground
  • cable shafts are vertical structures that have a height several times greater than the side of the section
  • cable floor - part of a building having distance between floor and ceiling is not less than 1.8 m
  • cable blocks – structures having pipes for laying of cables and the installation of wells for installation and maintenance
  • double floor – limited with walls or floors and floor cavity with removable plates
  • cable chamber – underground structure, designed for installation couplers or wiring blocks one hundred removable concrete slab
  • cable rack – pass-through or flow, surface or subsurface, inclined or horizontal structure
  • cable gallery – ground or aboveground, partially or completely closed, oblique extended or horizontal passageway structure.

If it is not possible to dig a trench for a cable transmission line(laying under existing transport highways, Railways, rivers and other obstacles where an open method of laying networks is not possible), then horizontal directional drilling (HDD) is used.

Depending on the project conditions, an armored or unarmored cable with aluminum or copper cores is used for the installation of power transmission lines. Dry, oil and compound couplings are used for connecting and branching cables. The service life of modern cables reaches 30 years.
