Threaded threads

Threading refers to procedures whose technique has proven standards over the years.

Our various types of threading services

Our Metalworking company "Metallenergo North-West" provides services for threading various types, as well as non-standard parts made of structural and construction steels, various non-ferrous alloys. At our factory, you can always order:

Taper thread cutting according to foreign and Russian standards. - Pipe threads according to foreign and Russian standards.

External thread cutting (inch, metric).

Internal thread (inch, metric).

Difficult type. Threading on a lathe (multi-pass, rectangular, trapezoidal).

Technologies, equipment, capabilities

The service of threading all types takes place at our factory, using modern high-precision equipment with software control. Our factory also uses specialized thread-cutting machines. They provide high-precision and fast execution of orders for cutting pipe threads whose diameter reaches up to 50 mm, as well as the production of bolts with a diameter of 6 to 52 mm. Working on turning equipment provides an opportunity to learn a profile that differs from the triangular one. Our factory can produce ball screw pairs and worm gears. We cut the trapezoidal thread by the fastest method of deepening the pre-groove, and then the profile is processed with two cutters.

Our factory uses the following types of threads:

Inch conical with a profile angle of 60o GOST 6111 (threading for air, water, oil and fuel pipelines of machines and machines). Cylindrical pipe GOST 6357, conical pipe GOST 6211 (threaded conical connections, as well as cutting on the cone of the outer thread for connection to the cylindrical inner). Metric, pitch and diameter defines GOST 8724, profile-GOST 9150.

External thread cutting

For this purpose, a collar, a vise and a die with the necessary thread pitch and diameter are used. A prepared metal rod is taken, firmly clamped and the chamfer is removed with a file or a special velvet file. Next, using a collar, a die is put on the end of the rod, which must be liberally greased with engine oil before this. Next, a die is screwed onto the rod.

After making one and a half turns, the die is unscrewed half a turn back, and then forward again for one and a half turns and again a little back until the necessary thread depth is obtained. In the process of implementing this work, it is necessary to carefully ensure that there are no distortions.
